When I use the **PV** Function in **Filemaker** it is **WRONG** and works it out as PMT made at the *end*

Instead of what **Excel** does **CORRECT** which is PMT made at the *beginning*

Here are those two calculators for reference: Present Value Calculator

How can I get Filemaker PV Function to work out PMT made at the **beginning**.

*Thanks.*

Excel definitely has a more sophisticated version of this function as it has two optional parameters that FileMaker lacks, but when I use the inputs from the example in FileMaker help in Both FileMaker 16 and in Excel, I get identical results provided that I leave those two optional parameters empty:

So "Wrong" would seem the wrong word to use here. Perhaps "different" or "limited" might be a better description of the differences.
