I am trying to write a search script (i am not very good at it) and I need some help with it.
I have a Title field (artwork title) when searched always returns different titles containing the same words.
For example, searching for the title "From And To (1st method)" it returns all the titles containing the same words.
So instead of finding that specific artwork, the search comes up with many unwanted works.
I would like to be able to search for the first 3 letters of the title "From And To" and find the requested artwork.
I was thinking to write a script that Counts the Left 10 words and if they are the same searched then it shows the record. I am not too sure if it makes sense!
I know there are the Find Operators but they don't really help with my problem.
For example, if I search for the title "Stream" and I know that it is in the database and use the quotation marks, the search returns Stream but also a different work titled Blue Stream, which I don't really want to see it in the searched results.
I hope I made myself understandable if you can suggest anything it is welcome.
