I have a layout that displays repeating fields. On the desktop the dividers between the field repetitions always display properly, regardless of the width the field has. On the iPad the dividers do not display properly unless the width of the field is an exact multiple of the number of repetitions and the divider line width.
How to replicate
Place a repeating field with small number of repetitions on a layout. Set the field to draw repetitions on the horizontal axis and give it a width at random. I observed this problem using seven repetitions. Format the field to display divider lines. View the layout in FMGo and see if all the dividers are drawn.
Change the width of the field and you'll see that different dividers are drawn.
Calculate the optimal width for the field. I found that this simple formula works.
n = number of repetitions to display
d = width of the line
w = width of field cell
Total width = ( n + 1 ) * d + ( n * w )
If the width of the line is 1px then the formula is simply ( w * n ) + 1.
