Product and version

FileMaker 16.0.3

OS and version

Windows 10 Professional

Resizing script window after exiting script options causes FileMaker to crash

How to replicate

  1. Create New FileMaker solution (no need to define any fields or tables)
  2. Open Script Workspace
  3. Maximize Script Workspace window
  4. Create New Script
  5. Add "Show Custom Dialogue" step
  6. Click gear icon to edit details for this step
  7. Press cancel or OK
  8. "Restore" the script window.  By this I mean press the button the will change the Script Window from being Maximized (and thus taking up the whole screen), to being whatever size it was before it was maximized
    • This can also be accomplished by grabbing the top of the script window with your mouse and dragging downward.  This "restores" the window and allows you to move it elsewhere on your screen in one step
  9. FileMaker crashes
  10. Note: In my testing, this happens with any/every script step that has a gear icon (ex. Replace field contents)

Don't restore the script window after editing details for a script step
