The most common user error is user entering data that is only slightly wrong.
The process is:
Someone log time to a project. They can select the project from a drop down list. If it is a new project they can click a button to create a new project record.
If they start a new project and the name matches an existing project FM ignore the NEW request and just selects the existing project for them.
What happens too often is someone enters a new project that is slightly different. Instead of "The Cog" they enter "The Cogs" or maybe just "Cogs" or maybe "TheCog" or maybe "TheCogs" and so on.
What I would like is if the name is similar the user will get a pop-up with the found similar project listed. Then they can pick the right one or confirm this is actually a new project.
Any trick to get FileMaker to find these similar names?
