Print layout, stop page from breaking in data area with sorted subsummary

Hi there,

I am trying to get FM to print our layout in a certain way but so far to no avail...

The whole setup is rather ordinary / simple, we have a header, a subsummary part which shows when we sort by date and then the data area.

The issue lies in getting FM to always start a new page if the data records belonging to a subsummary don't fit on one page... This would be a rough sketch:

Day 1

  • Event A
  • [...]
  • Event M

Day 2

  • Event N
  • [...]
  • Event S

<----THIS IS WHERE THE PAGE BREAK SHOULD HAPPEN

Day 3

  • Event T
  • [...] <---- SOMEWHERE HERE THE PAGE BREAK HAPPENS
  • Event X

How can I force the print layout to check if the data records would span accross multiple pages and – if so – start a new page with the subsummary part on top?

I have pretty much tried all the available break settings in the different areas and haven't gotten close. For example I cannot have the subsummary areas break after X instances because we don't know how many records will be listed there...

If this isn't possible at all (why?) then could I at least have the subsummary repeat again so the following records aren't 'orphaned' on the next page?

Thanks for your insights!!
