FM Server 16 How to Version Solutions

I have been updating a solution on the customer's Filemaker Server 16. I prefer updating it on server to be able to test lag time and improve sluggishness in scripts to help the solution perform better. Only this leaves me without a local copy and I am finding that I would prefer to have them test one version while I continue to improve on another version until that is ready and then make a newer version and so on.

I have VPN / Remote Desktop and access to the Filemaker Server 16. I am unsure how to do the following:

1. Duplicate a version on server and save it back to my local Mac.

2. Duplicate and name a new version so that client can test on one version while I continue to experiment and improve a different version.

I have seen a few posts how to save a local copy but those were very old posts and wonder if anything in this area has been improved or updated with FM 16 Server.

I would much appreciate any assistance.
