I have looked an can not find info on Set Zoom. My question is how to set Camera:Back options? What am I missing?
Filemaker's zoom control are for the windows itself, not for the camera controls.
The camera settings can only control which camera (front or back) and what resolution ( low, med, high, etc..) to use.
Insert From Device: FileMaker Pro 16 Help
The user should still be able to pinch/zoom a camera manually if needed.
You may want to consider adding a Product Ideas post for more control in camera options to see if it can be upvoted as an enhancement in future versions.
Thanks for the reply Mike,
I have a script with this line.
Set Zoom Level [ 100%; Camera: Back; Resolution: Full]
Not sure what you're editing, but "Set Zoom Level" only allows you to specify if the zoom is locked, and what percent to zoom the screen.
And "Insert From Device" only allows you to specify which camera to use, and resolution. Not zoom.
I have edited the script and it no longer shows. Just wondering how it got there in the first place. Someone posted question here, and this is the link. You can see it's in his script also. (just confused is all).
It looks like in that thread, the original poster was manually typing out something that doesn't exist. This is why I always try to post screenshots or sample files whenever possible (to avoid future confusion).
I have a printout of the script file, I guess it's not a big deal was wondering what I was missing on how to change those option, it looks like FM has a bug.
What version of FileMaker? If it's present in 16, then yes, I think you should post that printing and a small sample file to Report a Product Issue, as it seems to be erroneous or at least misleading.
I'm using 15, I find it odd that another user on here has seen it too, so its not being typed in, I don't think it will cause an error, like I say I was just researching to see what I was missing with that. Once I clicked into the options it looks like those have disappeared (strange). Thanks for your reply
