Hey All: I am new to FileMaker and I am a Missionary in Mexico. I am developing a database to use in our Community Center and part of this is incorporating various metrics. A 4 quadrant matrix is one of the tools. Does FileMaker have a way to create a 4 Quadrant Matrix? If not, how can I use the Excel spreadsheet that I have the matrix creating in? This is for a single person, so it is just plotting an X and Y axis for the person to visually see which quadrant they are in.

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance you can provide.

For C-speed working with matrices, and depending how much data you need to deal with, I would recommend you integrate FMP with a library like NumPy that Python uses. Using NumPy/SciPy, you can do just about anything you need to do with matrices without you writing (slow looping script) code.

To integrate FMP with NumPy, I would recommend creating a Python micro-service connector.

For Java, there's also this library: JAMA: Java Matrix Package

Connecting FMP with a Java micro-service is also straightforward.
