I just purchased two copies of filemaker because I was assured that my bento files would migrate. unfortunately, my systems are all 10.10 0r later. where do I send my files to be migrated to filemaker?

I received your files. Thank you.
The migration went smoothly, and the files have been sent to our Technical Support contact, so you should receive an email from him shortly. If you don't receive the files within 60 minutes, let me know, and I'll make sure the files are sent to you immediately.

I agree with TSGal, examples would help us. Perhaps you'd like to also start a new question, since your Bento has been converted to FileMaker?
And Welcome, BTW, to the Community! If you are really new, you might post to here: New to FileMaker. We promise to take small steps or large ones as needed!

As an example of entry collections is in this picture:
the library is "Gestion Clinica" and the collections are "Facturacion", "Archivo operaciones" and " Informe de alta".
I expected to have the same collections inFM, may be as different presentations.
It is important since I sort the entries in these groups.
In Bento these collections worked similar to the playing list in iTunes: In Bento these collections worked similar to the playing list in iTunes: You drop the entry to the collection you want and when you select that collection only the entries dropped are shown. I use the collections to have forms that I use as printing templates.
I can design the forms again in FM, it would be Nice if they were migrated also.
Other wise My Concern is how to Identify in wich group is included each entry. I miss something like a field serving as "tag".
If you think it would be more appropriate to open a new question I will. Anyway I see a direct relation to bento migration.
Thanks again for your help very appreciated.
carlos:
FileMaker Pro does not have an equivalent to Bento Collections. One possible workaround is to create a checkbox field that contains the values for the different Collections. You can then enter a checkmark for the values, and then perform a Find for that particular value.

Howdy! TSGal is correct. FileMaker may have different ways to work than Bento. There are "selection lists" that require the information be stored somewhere. You said:
the library is "Gestion Clinica" and the collections are "Facturacion", "Archivo operaciones" and " Informe de alta".
In FileMaker this might be:
1. Libraries (table) with Name (field), Where you enter the value "Gestion Clinica". This allows the expansion of the database to have more than one library, should you desire.
2. Next might be a Collections (table) with Library (field), Collection (field). Here you would have three records where the Library is "Gestion Clinica" and the Collection is different for each record.
3. From there you can additional table(s) and field(s) that might have other information.
This allows you to quickly search (Find) by any library and/or by any collection and/or any other field.
These are the start of a relational database and there is more detail that might be best explained in New to FileMaker
Also you might study the Learning documents/videos starting here:

And post back to with questions as you begin to work on your converted database!
