FLT Licensing. Again...

OK, I'm now officially confused!

I have just upgraded to FLT, 5 users.  The intended work case is remote users with iPads logging in two - three times a day to up/down load their data.

An iPad user connects to the DB, and the server admin console shows that a connection has been consumed. All good.

What I was not expecting was that when the iPad user exits, that connection is again available - I was expecting that the license would be assigned permanently to that user...

Isn't that a concurrent connection (with the caveat that the user cannot be anonymous)?

Hypothetical question...

I have a team of 15 people, located in 3 very different times zones (so they are most unlikely to need to access the DB at the same time)  How many FLT licensees do I need?

Looking forward to the answers
