How to remove green inner shadow to tab text?
for the life of me i cant get this phenomenon to go away.
FM 16 newest build on windows 8.1.
Thank you for your post with the link to the original posting that included the screen shot.
Do you recall what version of FileMaker Pro created the file? Do you know what theme was used as the base to create your custom theme?
If you create a new tab control, does the issue still occur? If not, make all settings in the new tab control the same as your original tab control, and then save that style under a new name. Once the new style is saved, try applying that new style to your original tab control.
If the issue still occurs when creating a new tab control, save a clone of your file, and send in the clone. I will have Development and Testing look at the file to determine the cause of the issue. I have sent you a private message with instructions where to send the file.
first created with FM 13 and modified with 15 then 16.
Don't know the original theme.
I'll send the file tonight.
file sent last night.. Did you get it?
File has been received. Thank you.
I will work with the file later today.
I am able to replicate the issue. Recover has no effect.
Creating a new layout with a built-in theme (Enlightened), and creating a new tab control with the identical settings of your original tab control works as expected, so either the style or your custom theme is corrupt. I have sent your file to our Development and Testing departments for a more thorough review. When I receive any feedback, I will let you know.
Only fix was to start a new theme from minimalist...
Development confirms your theme is damaged, but the rest of your file is fine. The two recommendations are to either use a backup of the file that doesn't exhibit this behavior and import the data from the damaged theme file, or to create a new theme, apply the new theme to the damaged theme layouts, and then delete the damaged theme.
