Product and version

FileMaker Pro 16.0.5

OS and version

macOS High Sierra 10.13.3

Hardware

iMac (Retina 5K, 27 pouces, fin 2014)

Description

When using the TextFontRemove calc function upon a numeric field, the decimal symbol will unexpectedly change when the system and the file settings are contradictory.

Interestingly, the TextFormatRemove calc function does not exhibit the same issue.

How to replicate

Open the file in attachement and test the three buttons; observe the results.

Remark Apple have recently released a BUG on macOS High Sierra for swiss french, where the decimal symbol was faulty the comma instead of the usual point. It is how i discovered the issue (see also the following section).

Workaround In my case it was yet a workaround against a problem described on Faulty storage of the Font when applying bold style wi… and which will probably never be solved. Now, well, i'm "loved" up . A workaround for a workaround of a workaround ???
