A recent discussion in my user group centered around "Native FileMaker". There was quite a good discussion of it and different points of view.
After the group was over, I talked it over with people here at Geist Interactive and ended up producing this post:
The point of the post that we tried to make is that Native FileMaker is anything we can do with FileMaker that requires no additional installation of plugins or apps or tools. Anything that we can do with a script step, function, or object, we should consider as Native, and therefore something we should take advantage of in our custom apps.
