I have a database that stores references in container fields to many images, approx. 100, 000 records each with 5 associates TO's and each TO has multiple records with container fields for images. Currently each user stores their own images locally and the reference path is indicated in a TO related to their user login. The issue arises if the user connects to the database from a different location or laptop, now the image reference cannot see the images. I was considering using an AWS instance to store the images to make them always available regardless of the users connection location. Does anyone have any experience with using AWS to store external images to be referred to from a FM database? Any recommendations? Any performance issues that I may or may not need to consider?
