I have Filemaker Pro Advanced 16 and have a small application which I would like to put on my iPhone... is this too difficult? What do I need to do?
This is the simplest approach:
Go to the app store and get FileMaker Go 16 for your iPhone.
Email the file to yourself.
Open the email on your iPhone and tap the icon for the attached file to download it.
Tap again and you'll get an option that will "Copy to" the file from your email to FM GO.
The file will copy to FM GO and open.
There after, you can launch FM GO, find the file and tap to open it.
There are several other ways to transfer the file to your phone:Drop BoxGoogle Drive
To name just 3.
You can also host the file from your computer using FileMaker Pro and use you iPhone as a client of the hosted file to open the file. This can be a very nice way to test your interface design and make any needed changes to your layout design as you can redesign the layout and immediately test it on your phone.
I am in Windows 10 so I have no access to App Store.... what then?
You have access to the App Store on your iPhone.
Are you looking for 'itunes for windows'? but erolst is correct, you need to D/L the FmGo from the app store ON your iPhone. Email the database to yourself and read the email (on the iphone) to get it opened with FmGo.
