Let function

I will capture student bookings with a web form. It's easier for the structure if the booking times are condensed. I can seperate them however I wish. I this example, I have included a space after the comma but I could exclude the spaces. I have been trying unsuccessfully to get the Let function to work.

My field is called: Bookings:LitSession

Wednesday 4th April 2018, 12:00 - 1:00 PM, Room 114, Somewhere City

I need this data stripped into:

SessionDate

SessionTime

SessionRoom

SessionCampus

I have tried this idea previously posted here from member Mike Mitchell (Thank you Mike), but I'm stuck at the last line: what does "//  Insert whichever variable you need for the particular case" mean? Could I have an example please?

Also this appears to be a combination of functions - is this the way to go? If I can see even a short example complete, I can tease that out (hopefully)

Let ( [

addressAsList = Substitute ( address_full ; ", " ; "¶" ) ;

street = GetValue ( addressAsList ; 1 ) ;

city = GetValue ( addressAsList ; 2 ) ;

line3 = GetValue ( addressAsList ; 3 ) ;

state = LeftWords ( line3 ; WordCount ( line3 ) - 1 ) ;

zip = RightWords ( line3 ; 1 )

] ;

//  Insert whichever variable you need for the particular case

)

Thanks for your time, it's much appreciated.
