Hide Object When Calculation…

Hi Forum Gurus… where am I going wrong?

Layout has two fields (both on same table):

  • JobStatus: Can be one of nine predefined values (populated by selecting a value from a static value list), e.g. Assigned, Pending, Other…
  • JobAssignedTo: A team member (populated by means of a dynamic value list)

Currently the JobsAssignedTo field is hidden on the layout, except when the JobStatus field is ‘Assigned’.

This works as expected.

I’d like to also not hide the JobAssignedTo field with a second and third value in the Job Status field. I’ve tried the below functions, but my logic must be flawed, because they  hide everything.

Job::JobStatus ≠ "Assigned"  or

Job::JobStatus  ≠ "Other"

Case (

Job::JobStatus  ≠  "Assigned"; 1;

Job::JobStatus  ≠ "Other";1;

Function 3

If (

Job::JobStatus ≠ "Assigned" or

Job::JobStatus  ≠ "2B Quoted";

Any pointers?
