Here I want to know that while adding items to portal table the portal row should be on first row presently it comes on last .
When allowing creation of a record in a portal, that 'potential' record is always on bottom.
Here is one work-around that many of my clients like:Create a single row portal above, filtered for not isvalid (primary key of portal table).
However, once a user commits this record, or a trigger commits it, it will 'drop' into the portal below, so be clever with the main portal sort, or you make want to employ yet another utility portal for "most recently created record", just below.
If you are employing a "New Record" button to create the portal record, then you only need the "(sort by) most recently created record" single row portal.
You are welcome. You can mark this answered so it gets put in the 'done' pile.
samarthmkt, another method is to put a '+' button above the portal. The script triggered by the button opens a window offscreen, populates it with the appropriate info, and then closes the window. Simple so far.
Now we need to get that new record to appear at the top of the portal. Let's say the portal displays recent orders in reverse chron. If the new record auto-inputs the current date, then it will appear at the top of the portal. You get the concept.
