Any solution to inspect and optimize the laggy layout?

I have about 5k records for the main table (think not too much?), 20 layouts, one of important table has 40-50 fields(should I design it less fields?), other table is around 10-20 fields.

I found when I switch between layouts, feels 0.5-0.8 sec laggy, if I use "new window" to create a new instance, feels more laggy than only one instance. Even though it's still acceptable for me, but if can speed it up, it will be more efficient to me. By the way, I am using 2017 15 inch macbook pro with High Sierra  v10.13.4.

When it comes to List View mode, I also feel slower than before, is that because too many calculated fields or some calculated things in the layout? Or is it the filemaker gene or truth that it will be slower performance when having too much records or complicated layout/calculations compared to other popular database tools?

If someone can provide a optimization guideline how to find out slow reasons and how to solve it out or optimize it step by step, I'd appreciate it so much.
