Hello, trying to change a conditional formatting with filemkaer 16 it is no longer possible to see the button "conditional formatting" to change the existing settings or add new ones. How can I do?
You likely have a Field set as a button. In the layout object inspector your will need to select the field within the button-group, and apply your conditional formatting to the Field object.
Hello, yes, the field is also a button. I did not understand how to do though to see conditional formatting. I clicked with the right button, as I've always done, but the voice no longer appears in the drop-down menu.
Any object that is converted to a "button" is automatically TWO OBJECTS (a group). It has been that way for a long time. The NEW "change" in FMP 16 is that you must now use the Layout Object "inspector/dialog/window" to see the group and each of the objects. Select one in the list to make changes to it. See this help topic "Using the Layout Objects window to work with objects":

I set f4 field as button, then it become "Gruoped Button" you can see it in "Layout Object" panel.
You can right click "Edit Box (f4)" (contained in Grouped Button) in the panel then find "conditional formmating..."
This is reminiscent of when FMI gave us user control over "Manage External Data Sources", and we got a chance to peek under the covers and see what FMP had been doing for us automatically all those prior years.
Of course, with "more control" comes "more work", but I think that overall it's worth it.

When I saw the mess thus created in some of my files I tended to think in terms of "do TO us" rather than "do FOR us" .
