I need to migrate Bento 3 db into FileMarker Pro16. Is that possible? I see people have had trouble in past. If not possible, suggest workarounds please
Yes, it is possible to migrate Bento Files into FileMaker Pro Files. You can follow the Migrating from Bento to FileMaker Article here. If you run into any troubles, you can always call FileMaker Customer support for anymore advice on how to Migrate.
Your advice sounded good, but I have Bento 3 and the migration tool gives error message saying in only works with Bento 4 and up.
Is there a fix for this.
You will need to send in your Bento database file (or backup file), and we will move the file to a Bento 4 format and perform the migration for you. I have send you a private message with instructions where to send the file.
I received your Bento 3 Backup. Thank you.
I was able to upgrade the file to Bento 4, and I was able to migrate the data into a FileMaker Pro file. I have sent the file to our Technical Support contact, so you should receive an email from him shortly.
UPDATE: The file has been uploaded to a server. I will send you a private message with the download instructions.
