I've got a portal that shows From and To, and then is clickable and takes you to another layout where you fill in more information about the Bill. I can't seem to find how to get back to portal setup to allow for automatic filtering of records.
It looks like maybe your grouped. Try right clicking, then Arrange, then Upgroup (if it's not grayed out). You'll have to remember which script is tied to it as it will warn you that it's removing it.
BTW it doesn't look like a portal to me.
If I am understanding this right, you just want to be able to get back to Portal in Edit layout and get it to open it's Portal Setup Window Correct? If so, as long as you double Click on the Portal Window in Edit Layout, you should get the Portal Setup window to appear. If I misunderstood, just let me know.
Hey thanks for the quick reply! So no, double clicking did not work it just brings back up the button setup menu.
Right-click the portal and select "Portal Setup ...".
and so right click gives me button setup.
So, where in that screenshot is the portal you are talking about?
Where I'm right clicking started out as a portal but I did not think that assigning it a script would functionally turn it into a button. It still works as a portal, shows all records needed when in Browse mode, just also happens to a clickable function tied to it.
If all else fails, select the portal and choose Format > Portal Setup.
Thank you that is it, my boss, the one who made the "portal" was wrong and its not actually a portal.
