We have some Windows 10 machines connected to our FileMaker Server (22.214.171.124) (running on a Mac). They are no longer able to connect to the host after updating to Windows 10 1803. Anyone else having this issue?
I managed to figure it out. Changing the firewall settings did not work. I modified the connection path to be the server’s IP address instead of its network name, <<servername>>.local, and not only did it solve the connectivity problem, but it also dramatically increased the speed at which it finds and connects to the server which had been painfully slow on all of the Windows machines. Sorry...just saw that I mis-typed the server version we are running.
maybe you need to check your network-setting in W10. If you are not in a domain, maybe the network is regarded as public, by W10. If you can’t change that, try if disabling the firewall helps and if so, re-enable it and add a rule.
If that doesn’t help, try clearing the allowed hosts and try to connect via entering a favorite host.

I guess I missed that you were hosting on a MAC. So the link I provided was about hosting on Windows.
Bonjour may need to be reinstalled. FM's install also installs Bonjour, so you might want to just reinstall FM on the effected computers.
