I really don't get it. I want to deploy apps under my own branding using SDK.
But what's the point when there is an office of people half using iPhones and the rest on Android. The Android people cant use it, and get pissed off.
If FM wants to promote this, but limit its use to half the population, I dont get it!
I heard "well, just use WebDirect", but that's over the internet, and the person has to go into their Chrome browser and keep a tab open. Who wants to do that as a central part of their phone use?
So I'm conflicted. I can create the best layouts and info and hook it to my system, and using an App would be great, but then because of this refusal to adopt at all for Android, it crashes the whole lot, meaning that I need to go to some other App development that is not Filemaker, then I can't adopt any of my FM layouts.
It's really starting to piss me off.
Any ideas on what I can do?
