CWP & PHP: Get the IP address of the User (not the worker server in a two-machine deployment)

Using a Master/Worker Server deployment, when we ask for the remote IP address ($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']) we get the worker server's IP address rather than the user's IP address.

Any suggestions for a way to pass the User's IP to the master server?

More details:  We are upgrading our Filemaker server and most things are working fine:  however the new system (Windows server 2012, IIs, Filemaker server 16, PHP CWP ) is using a Master Server two-machine deployment, one  master (where the PHP code is located) and the one worker server (the publicly viewable website).
