I have successfully deployed FileMaker Server 17, imported our databases, setup the Admin Console, and have installed FileMaker Advanced 17 to all client computers.
Accessing our databases from within the office is working as expected. We're in a Mac environment. All Mac clients and Mac servers.
We are also behind a firewall but I have setup VPN access and all our clients can successfully authenticate to VPN and access our servers.
However, I was just made aware that remote access via VPN is not working for FileMaker Server 17. Clients are getting an error message stating "The file [filename] could not be opened. Either the host is not available, or the file is not available on that host."
Remote VPN access was working fine when we were on FileMaker Server 12, but I fully understand that this is a brand new deployment of a brand new version. I'm guessing it's something I'm missing in the Admin Console.
I appreciate any help anyone can provide in this matter.
