I need to perform a compound find and from the documentation and I'm not clear on how to distinguish between 'or' or 'and'

From the description in the guide it sounds like you can only perform 'and' find.

"The Compound Find command lets you combine multiple Find Request objects into one command." This sounds like 'and' - Find Name=john and state=NY

What I need to do is find records where the QuoteID = QuoteID and PORID = "" empty. Followed by a find where PORID = PORID

Is this possible?
