A PDF which appear correctly oriented on the desktop, is sidewise in the container field.
Not sure why?
Do you have any kind of alignment? Hide objects when printing?
If you run a script as PSoS, does it produce same kind of PDFs? Do you have any other kind of Adobe PDF software installed on your computer?
I believe the client is work as follows:
Users scan receipts and then drags and drop PDF into the container.
Some are on Windows, most are on Macs.
I do not know what PDF software they have or what scanner they are using but I can find out.
I thought I would start with finding out if there is a setting in FM that I need to check.
As I understand it, the container field uses metadata in the file to determine orientation.
I've seen stuff created in one app come out sideways in other aps besides FileMaker, presumably it's an issue with that meta data and how it's "read" by the app in question.
This has been reported before.
