Hello, I understand that SUMif doesn't exist in filemaker and even if it did it would take a couple steps to make it work.
Project: Budget database
Goal: Add up expenses based on project and department
2 Tables - Budget by Project & Expenses
Budget by Project contains Fields Project Title, Scenery Budget & Scenery Actual, Audio Budget & Audio Actual, etc.
Expenses contains fields for Project Title, Department, Unit Cost, Vendor, Quantity, Total Cost
I would like to be able to have my Scenery Actual add up all expenses created under Expenses that are for that specific project and in the Scenery Department. Eventually I would like to set-up expenses by vendor, etc. Any suggestions on what formula to follow?
