Copy URL from "Open URL" Dialog in iOS WebDirect?

Has anyone tried to select and copy the URL from the "Open URL" dialog while using WebDirect on iOS' Safari?

It's kind of comical in a frustratingly impossible sort of way.

Notice that, in WebDirect on iOS

you can insert and delete text and even emojis into that dialog, which is useless,

but you can't select and copy the URL, which would be exceptionally useful for bringing the URL to the address bar when you have a pop-up blocker.

Copying the URL from the "Open URL" dialog while in FileMaker Pro or in WebDirect on a computer browser works fine.

Not only should the URL be selectable from the "Open URL" dialog while using WebDirect on iOS' Safari,

the URL should already be selected and ready to copy (because trying to select text in iOS can be cumbersome anyway).

My attempts were in iOS 11.3.1 and 11.4,

on both iPhone 6 Plus and an iPad,

being served from Server 16.0.4.
