Ourselves, and others, have had catastrophic file system failures writing large files to disk under APFS.

We reverted back to HFS+ running on mission critical SSDs last Dec.

The problem was reported on this forum and elsewhere:

APFS - safe to use, maybe not yet (Dec'17)?

That APFS is a work in progress was confirmed by Mac disk utility and backup vendors and others.

For the first time WWDC lacked a file system session this month, and APFS still lacks detailed documentation.

What is your experience??

How is FMP 16/17 running under 10.13.5 (High Sierra) for disk intensive operations (large files)?

Keep in mind, we run APFS on our MacBook Pros and other machines.

But, currently, not on our main development machines.

Other Mac users report similar issues elsewhere when copying virtual machine partitions etc.
