Print Scripts to Printers, not .pnf files

How to print scripts in the absence of a Print Setup on the File Menu of the Scripts Work Space?

Depending upon what other print setups or printing you have done within your application, File/PrintScript will attempt to write a .pnf file for which there is no application on Windows.  This happens even when Print to File is not set.  The only work around I have found is to first go to one of the layouts of my application, File/PrintSetup then File/Print then return to the Script Workspace and File/Print.  The earlier setup seems to carry over to Script Printing.

My platform is FM Pro Advanced 16.04.403 running on Windows 10 (up to date).

Related requests for enhancement: add the step number to script prints and add a function Get(ScriptStepNumber) so that error messages can accurately point to a specific line in a script even as steps are added or removed from the script.  For large, complex scripts, working from paper is very helpful to see the full picture without a lot of scrolling.  These enhancements will significantly help development efficiency.
