External Container Fields and Opening DOCX files

Until recently, recently I did not have a problem opening Word documents (or any other kind of document) from Container fields storing documents externally with the following export script:

Allow User Abort Off ]

Set Error Capture [ On ]

If [ not lsEmpty(GetRepetition ( CaseProj Activities::DocActivities; $repetition )) ]

Set Variable $repetition; Value:Get ( ScriptParameter ) ]

Set Variable [ $path; Value:Get ( TemporaryPath ) ]

Set Variable [ $filename; Value:Middle ( GetAsText(GetRepetition (CaseProj Activities::DocActivities; $repetition )) ;

Position ( GetAsText(GetRepetition (CaseProj Activities::DocActivities; $repetition )) ; "1' ; 1 ;

PatternCount ( GetAsText(GetRepetition (CaseProj Activities::DocActivities; $repetition )) ; "1' )) + 1 ; 1000) ]

Set Variable $final_path; Value:$path & $filename ]

Export Field Contents [ CaseProi Activities::DocActivitiesf$repetitionl; "$final_path"; Automatically open ]

End If

Go to Field [ ]

Exit Script [ ]

I use Microsoft Office 2016 for word documents. After the most recent Office update (I think), I am unable to open DOCX documents from container fields on my home computer using Window 10 Professional. I am, however, able to open such documents on my work computer, which uses Windows 7 Professional.

Any suggestions?
