So, I have become a Case formula Nerd; every once in awhile I stumble;
I have an intake page with 8 Races listed to federal standard description and using checkboxes,
as some people insist on multi-racial status. Which is absolutely okay.
I have a program specific application that wants to know what race they are, I cannot change the layout
of the form to flow with the structure of checkboxes in FileMaker (checkbox on left vs. right.
So as an example I am using:
Case(A1_Race = "American Indian" ; "X"; "")
This works fine under the single field name which needed to be created, there are eight with the unique descriptions.
When you check an additional box everything goes blank. I tried changing the "" to self but that didn't work.
