Description

Defining design states  for button bar buttons react buggy on mouse clicks.

Clicking the button the first time shows the defined style. Clicking it a second time creates different results depending on the segment background style (solid color or gradient).

Background is solid color in all states

• 1st click will show blue background with white font (state "press")

• 2nd click will change neither background (stays white) nor font (stays black).

In both cases the click is recognized.

Background is in all states gradient (start and end are the same color)

• 1st click will show blue background with white font (state "press")

• 2nd click will change change background (blue) but not font (stays black).

Similar behavior applies to buttons with icons. The icon color does not change on the second click.

Question: Why does the background style changes the click state behavior?

Question: Why does the state "press" works only for the background, but not for the font or icon color?
