Let me preface this by stating that I am not a touch typist. I look at the keyboard, then the screen. I have never been a fan of type ahead in any program, but find the function in the Script Workplace particularly vexing. Our system is huge: hundreds of table occurrences, lots of custom functions all of which adds to the type ahead vexation. I will type a word, look up to see something completely different in the workspace.
Our company is currently using FMP 16 (Windows 10), but the type ahead crashes have forced me to use 15 for my scripting. I hear they have fixed this in 17, but I would prefer the ability to turn this function off entirely. Is there a way to do this? (maybe a registry key?)
