My Client has a FileMaker 12 database with assorted connected tables that he runs on an old iMac. He needs to move it to a new Mac that will be running the latest FileMaker. What is the best way to do this? All his files are local on his Mac, but when I tried copying the files to my own machine using Dropbox (he's in a different city), I seem to have missed some that are linked to his solution.
Is there a way within FileMaker to make a backup copy of all the necessary files to an external drive — like a thumb drive — and simply copy that onto the new machine?
