Just asking, when i've finished setting up the SSL (working right now), can i close port 5003 on my server?
Because we connect over 443 now (i think).
Love to here.
No, FMP/FMGo traffic to and from FMS is still on 5003. SSL is not uniquely tied to port 443.
wimdecorte Thx! Is UDP ánd TCP stil needed or only TCP for 5003?
Don't recall but perhaps the knowledge base article specifies it:
In my firewall setting, I only have TCP 5003 enabled for inbound, in addition to TCP 80 and 443 for cwp, webdirect, interactive container data, etc. If that helps.
Mike: dont you need outbound 5003 also?
Outbound is open, at least in the firewall. The server should be able to get to whatever it needs to, generally.
