Filemaker 17 crashing when changing from Layout mode to Browse mode

Filemaker 17 Advanced 17.01 and 17.02

VM - 12.90Ghz, 16GB memory

How to replicate:

Move between layouts in layout mode then switch to browse mode and application crashes immediately. Layouts are typically table view with only a small number of fields and records. Nothing special on layouts... just fields, just like a layout would look straight after making it with the layout wizard.

 

Solutions are migrated from earlier versions of fm. Crash does not happen using Filemaker v16.04

 

Workaround (if any)

Tick layout to show in layout menu then navigate to another layout that does not crash and go to browse mode and then you can go to affected layout via layout dropdown list, this way you are not switching modes.
