FileMaker Go 17 not requesting permission to access Motion & Fitness data

FileMaker Go 17 does not ask permission to access Motion & Fitness data on either iPhone 5S or iPad Pro 9.7.

None of the step count options (stepCount, stepDistance, stepFloorsUp or stepFloorsDown) under script step GetSensor trigger FileMaker Go to ask for permission to access Motion & Fitness data on either iPhone 5S or iPad Pro 9.7, as a result none of those functions work. stepFloorsUp or stepFloorsDown wouldn't work on iPhone 5S anyway due to it lacking a barometer.

The setting cannot be accessed via Settings>privacy>Motion & Fitness either as that would only allow you to alter permission once it has been requested,  the problem being it is never requested.

stepCount and stepDistance are listed as available on iPhone 5S using GetSensor( available ) but just return 0 values, none of the four options are listed as available on iPad Pro 9.7 and just return blank values.

All other permissions (location, microphone, camera, photos, media & Apple music) are correctly requested the first time you try to access them and show up in Settings>privacy from then on.
