I am posting this solution to email not working as it is the case with the 4 clients I have that had this problem.
FileMaker states in the specs that if an email client is 32bit and FM is 64 bit the email client will not launch, this is true, specifically on a PC. I have tested this and all 4 of my clients stated they are running Office as 32.bit. When they installed a 64bit version the problem went away.
So reinstalling Outlook is a solution IF it is reinstalled as 64bit and FM Server is installed as 64bit.
or just buy Apple Computers. :-o
