FileMaker Pro 17.02.25. This has been present for several recent versions of FileMaker and the problem is reproducible with FileMaker 17 under Windows 10.

Mac OS High Sierra

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7

A button is created using the button tool and is assigned a single step or a script that has the "Change cursor to hand over button" option selected.

The button is subsequently altered so that "Do nothing" is assigned to the button.

However when hovering or clicking on the button the hand icon still momentarily flickers into view.

To resolve this you need to assign an action to the button again then deselect the "Change cursor to hand over button"

Buttons are frequently assigned to other functions other than being used to invoke a script and this is unwanted and distracting to users while constantly having to reassign a script and deselect the checkbox to get rid of this is tiresome.

The hand icon would never appear when clicking on a functionless button. One solution would be to have the checkbox automatically deselected when a user alters a button to a "Do nothing" state.
