About a windows runtime

Question asked by snimmo on Aug 17, 2018

I have created a windows runtime to run on a 32bit windows installation. The runtime works completely on the machine I created it on that is a 64bit windows machine with both 32bit and 64bit FM installed. I created the runtime with the 32bit version of FM and all is well if I run it on that machine. However, if I install that runtime on another 32bit windows machine the runtime at first appears to run - pulls up records, searches work etc. but when I try to add a record it will not add or update records. I assumed it was a permission issue and made sure I gave the user read/write privileges but it did not seem to recognize that they could update. Is there a trick to giving update permissions on a 32bit windows runtime that I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. Steve
