Using a dropdown to pull data from a lookup to populate a field?

I'm not sure if this is the correct section to ask this, but I'm running into a little issue. I've very rusty with FileMaker (the last version I used was 6).

What I'm trying to do is set up a way that I can pull default service description over to a proposal and then edit the description for just that proposal. On the proposal side, the user would select the service from a drop down that would populate the description. One of the snags is that each proposal could have multiple services.

My 2 tables are set up like this (this is just a test):

Table: Services

_PkServices

Service Name

Service Description

Table: Proposal

_FkServices

Customer Name

Service Name (dropdown populated from Services)

Description (pulled in after selecting the Service Name in the drop down)

I'm guessing I'm going to need another table to handle the possibility of multiple services on a proposal.

I would be grateful for any help you guys can give. This is one of those situations that has caused me to have a mental block in finishing the app.
