I thought that the Min function returned the minimum non-empty value of a record. It does not appear to do that.

I have a list of values of which the last one is empty.

Using this calculation I get the result of " " (null) if the *Do not evaluate if all ref fields are empty *box is checked.

I get the result of " " (null) if the *Do not evaluate if all ref fields are empty *box is unchecked.

Round(Min(Income_YearAmtIndexed_Total_ByYear);2))

I also tried:

not IsEmpty(Round(Min(Income_YearAmtIndexed_Total_ByYear);2))

Using this calculation I get the result of **0** if the *Do not evaluate if all ref fields are empty *box is checked.

I get the result of **1** if the *Do not evaluate if all ref fields are empty *box is unchecked.

How can I find the min value of a non-empty field?

Thanks

Does it work if you create a summary field defined as minimum of Income_YearAmtIndexed_Total_ByYear. It will always show the minimum of the found records.

Edit: also for the whole table you could try:

ExecuteSQL ( "SELECT MIN (\"YearAmtIndexed_Total_ByYear\") FROM EnterYourTableHereLowerCase" ; "" ; "" )
