Hi,

I have a relation to a table, called scaled prices.

in my main table I enter a value for numer of articles. My scaled prices are like below:

0 - 200 pcs. = 30€

201 - 400 pcs. = 28€

401 - 700 pcs. = 27€

I made the relation as follows:

For every typed numer of pieces, I get the correct value for the scaled price of that article.

It works very well for pieces from 0 to 700 pcs. But dont work for values greater than 700.

How can I handle that?

Thanks a lot.

Tanja

Please refer to my first reply.

The price doesn't change because 850 is larger than the largest value in your related pricing table. There's no matching value for that piece count and so the price does not change. You need to be sure that you always get a matching value for all possible values that might be entered into Pieces.

In my first reply, I spelled out two options for dealing with that:

a) set up a calculated match field that matches with the value 700 for all values > 700

b) add a record where the "from" field value is far larger than any possible value for Pieces and give it the desired price. This might be as simple as taking the third record and giving it a value 3000000 or some such value in place of the 700 value.
