They have just said "coming soon" for quite a while now...
Session Materials 2018
It's been less than a month since DevCon ended, and there were a lot of videos. Last year's were published starting about 6 weeks after, so I imagine they'll start coming out in the next few weeks.
You do realize that people just returned from well deserved resting after presenting an awesome DevCon, right?!
How am I supposed to know if it was an awesome devcon? I wasn't there, which is why I want to watch the videos
Surely a company the size of Filemaker outsource the production of videos etc. If not why not?
Any work done on the videos takes time.
I could swear I saw them editing video at DevCon.
Incremental rollouts would be reasonable.
Incremental rollouts will probably happen. They'll slowly post the videos when they're available. I just subscribe to the Youtube channel, so I see them outside of the community.
We received the unedited videos from the conference AV provider and handed them off to our video production partner this week. We're meeting with them next week to agree on the production schedule. I expect everything to be available by the end of this month.
titanium76, the at DevCon video editing was for things like the short video shown in the Closing Session and for the customer stories we shoot during the conference. There are two streams of video production at DevCon--the session audio and slide content and a variety of marketing and social media footage about the overall conference experience.
As I recall a number of the presenters hadn’t uploaded their slides/sample files etc. by the time their session had started. I believe some still remain missing even though they had mentioned they’d be putting them up. Is this also being updated?
I will remind the speakers to post their materials. If there are any specific sessions you are looking for, you can also leave a comment on the session materials page and @ mention the speaker. All speakers should be linked on their materials page.
MUST EAT ALL PICTURE MOVIES OF THE DEVCONZ!! NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!
Ha! I always suspected that Cookie Monster was a workplace innovation platform kind of muppet. Never had the proof until now, though...
