Find records by month

I'm using a drop down field where the user selects a month to find records for that month. All works fine until you select a future month. Since there are no records created yet, the script exits but leaves the user with a foundCount of "0" records. What I'd like to do is have a message telling the user there are no records for that month yet and then leave the script showing all records.

What I have so far:

MonthSelect field is a global text field

If [MonthSelect="Jan"]

     Set Field [Date ; 1 & "/" & Year (Get ( CurrentDate))

     Perform Find [ ]

     Clear [Select ; MonthSelect]

     Go to Field [ Company ID ]   I'm using Company ID to take the user to the top of the screen

     Exit Script [Text Result:   ]

Else....

This repeats through December. TIA
