Hello, I'm new to filemaker, I'm trying to make a post with the Adobe API sign, I want to upload a file, please help me!!!, this is my configuration:
This the parameters of adobe sign:
Anything with a data type of “Form” should use the “-F” or “—form”. It seems like you want to use the content type of “multiparty/form-data” instead of “application....”.
File must be stored in a variable to be sent.
Set your file to a variable ($file) and use a header like
“-F File=@$file” to actually send the file.
“-F File-Name=“ & $filename
“-F Mime-Type=“ & $type
I just added it, but even the result is the same
I would remove the user headers as they are not required and may cause an issue if empty.
You may need a real file name “test.pdf”. You may also need a real mime type for the file you are sending. Do you have a link to the actual API documentation?
I would advise you use “-D $$header —trace $$trace” in your cURL options as it will help you troubleshoot the actual issues better.
The options also need a single space between them. It is hard to tell if you have that in your screen shots.
This is the url of documentation bigtom
REST API — Document e-signature Software — Adobe Sign
thanks in advance
Looks like you really need the error detail that comes back from “-D $$header”. What is the full value in $$header?
Hello, bigtom I tried but I still do not have a solution, help me, I attach the file for you to review, please
This API uses OAuth for authentication and seems to return custom base URIs at the time of authentication. You cannot hard code the URL. You have nothing to get the authentication done. You first need to solve authentication before trying to send a file. The access tokens are only valid for 5 minutes. I have done this with other services via a web viewer and some PHP on a web server to get the tokens from the OAuth response. You also need your app client ID. This is not a simple process because of the security measures involved.
This error is occurring because you are not using the proper base URI. Short answer: The URL does not exist.
